The Pink Cherokee Warrior Princess Stories

6/27:  Time to put my warrior paint on again.  Diagnosed recently with cancer in my left breast now.  Sheesh!  Here we go again.

Here is an angel card I pulled today.  Random but interesting and spot on.  Also, I found some  American Indian Prayers that have soothed my soul today..

 6/4 - I want to remember this sweet quote from a friend yesterday ....

"For whatever friends are worth, for whatever prayers are worth, you're worth it all. All will be well."
Jeff Shear

 Beautiful Pueblo Blessing and Lakota Sioux Indian quote:

"we must relearn how to cry..." Lame Deer, Lakota Nation

WORDS FOR ALL RELATIVES... FOR ALL WHO SURVIVED AND HELD ON...
"Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth...
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself...
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here...
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go...
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you."

(Pueblo Nation Blessing)

Love you Warriors!

"I cannot count the number of times someone has told me, "Oh Wendy you can handle it, you're the strongest woman I know." While I have been through some tough situations in my lifetime; I am only human and sometimes, I just want someone to listen to me, a shoulder to cry on, or someone else to take care of things.
Know that it's ok to ask for help; it's ok to cry a while; it's ok to lay in bed for the day; it's ok to not be able to fix it all; it's ok to let someone take care of you for a change. That doesn't mean your weak; it only means you are in touch with your true feelings, wants, and needs; and in all honesty, it takes a really strong person to admit their weaknesses."
``````Wendy Box
Have a great day everyone and remember Your feelings, wants, and desires are IMPORTANT.
((hugs & love)))
4/14/13 - Interesting article that I may want to refer to and may interest other people:
BRAIN CANCER HEALED WITH DIET...
After having surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, eight year old Josie Nunez’s brain tumor reappeared for a second time and doctors gave her only weeks to live. Her parents frantically searched the internet for alternatives and found Dr Bernardo Majalca, a naturopathic doctor who offered them hope and a natural cure for Josie.
Dr Majalca said that Josie wasn’t dying of cancer but was dying from acidosis, and that by finally addressing this issue her body would be able to heal itself.
He prescribed a special alkalizing diet which included 4 alkalizing juices per day, as well as various methods for detoxification, and immune-building herbs. He describes his treatment plans in the video links below.
Josie’s family measured her pH every morning before she ate or drank anything using saliva test strips. When they first started checking her pH it measured around 5.5 or lower.
Dr Majalca says that when your pH reaches 6.8 the cancer will stop growing, anything above that and the cancer starts to die. The goal was to lift Josie’s pH to at least 7.2 and to hold it there for several months until the cancer was completely gone.
The diet and therapies prescribed for Josie- She could not eat any meat or dairy, as well as anything that was man-made. . . no burgers, soda, candy, fries, sugars, regular pasta, regular bread, or processed foods of any kind.
1st juicing recipe (taken 2 x per day):
1/2 mashed avocado mixed together with 8 oz of fresh carrot juice mixed with a WOODEN spoon. . . to keep a metal spoon from starting another chemical reaction that destroys the enzymes this mixture creates.
2nd juicing recipe (taken 2 x per day):
1 granny smith apple
1 cup of broccoli
1/2 inch slice of FRESH pineapple (not in a can)
1/2 beet
handful of cilantro
1/4 inch slice of ginger
1/2 inch slice of Daikon radish
1 carrot
1/2 cucumber
5 asparagus spears
run all items through a juicer
Her family reports that she had oxygen therapy throughout the day, as well as got plenty of fresh air and sunlight, and she drank about 30 ounces of clean water daily; for an adult that would be about 10 glasses of water per day.
"The symbolism is this sculpture below is so profound...
Strong in the broken places....Gilded scars that highlight the tenacity and courage of a survivor....
Incredible!!" - Katie Maxwell-King
"When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful. "
